New Build House in Blackburn in Aid of Hospice Charity

This property has been donated by Kingswood Homes for this competition run by the Derian House Hospice Charity.

The house is still under construction and will be ready at the end of 2022 soon after the competition winner is chosen. There will be three bedrooms; a master with en-suite, a double and a single as well as family bathroom all on the first floor. Downstairs you can find a substantial open plan kitchen and dining area with modern style fitted kitchen and patio door access to the garden, a seperate living room will also provide a quiet space away from the open plan area. The house is located in Feniscowles, a suburb of Blackburn within easy reach of major cities such as Manchester.

The competition is branded as the Great Big House Giveaway and is being run by the Derian House Children's Hospice which provides services for young people across the North West. This is different from most other house competitions who may donate a portion of ticket sales to a charity, in this case the charity itself is taking nearly all the proceeds. The house prize is guaranteed and not dependent upon ticket sales.
